Mag Singer (Oscar Winner Susan Sarandon) has fought to regain control of her shaky life. Recently estranged from her husband (played by Sam Shepard of The Pelican Brief, Baby Boom), this mother of seven sons stands poised to pursue a whole new life. But when tragedy strikes, Mag is forced to re-examine everything she holds dear. and to face the prospect that things will never be the same.
